Proudly Presented by:

hocoa-logo small1stClassPaint Logo white

The rUNdead 5K trail course winds and weaves through the woods, clearings, over bridges, across creeks and along the edges of ponds just before sunset. Those who choose to be RUNNERS must compete not only against the clock, but rugged terrain, low lighting and narrow pathways. Also, you’ll be running from and around ZOMBIES.

Before, during and after the actual race there will be live entertainment, music, a costume contest, youth area, vendors, food, beer and an AFTERMATH party to die for. Spectators are encouraged to attend ($5 cash or FIVE canned goods for ages 12+, under 12 free) to view the carnage and cheer on the RUNNERS or ZOMBIES...

facebookprofilelogoApparently this is a resistant strain and the infection has spread once again...This time reports of the zomBEES infecting humans has given us some concern. Quarantine is scheduled for Saturday October 25, 2014 from 2-10 pm with race starting at 5 pm and onsite AFTERMATH party complete with a showing of The Goonies on Cinebarre’s big outdoor screen at the North Charleston Wannamaker County Park.

Taking over the Holy City (again), this grueling zombie challenge will demand your brawn, your blood, and maybe even your brains...

The purpose of this adventure race is to have a family-friendly way to celebrate the zombie craze that is infecting the nation. On Purpose Adventures, LLC and the Charleston County Park & Recreation Commission encourage you to get out and be active. This race is for all fitness levels, great for first-timers. rUNdead is not a mudrun or tough obstacle course. Natural paths, creeks, hills and ZOMBIES make rUNdead challenging enough for the masses. An extra health flag (limit 1) can be gained by donating 5 canned goods to the Lowcountry Food Bank on site.
